Rotary Club of Wasaga Beach Providing Easter Food Hampers

Easter Food Hampers

The Rotary Club of Wasaga Beach and area is working with the Ministerial Food Bank again this year to provide Easter food hampers. This is the third year the two organizations have worked together to provide hampers to approximately 330 families. Each basket contains a ham, pineapple, mustard, potatoes, carrots, peas, corn, buns, canned fruit, apples, jello, apple juice and a few Easter treats. Rotarians purchase the food, deliver to the bank and then pack the hampers. The following day Rotarians will also distribute the hampers by delivering them or offering rides for pickup. The food is purchased through the local I.G.A. Foodland where Mike and Sherri Dopp offer attractive pricing to maximize the benefit to more families.
