Answers:
1.) Now that it is officially summer, what season is your favorite and why?
Summer is my favorite mostly cuz I like the sunshine.  I hate winter and the cold...but I like the look of the snow, but when winter drags way into Spring, I hate it.  Spring is okay if it's not always raining and muddy like, I hate the smell of spring grass...LOL and Fall, well it would be my second choice just because of the colors!

2.) What does summer look like in your house? Sound like?
Uumm...I don't know - in the house you know it's summer cuz of the humming of the air conditioner.  You can tell it's summer cuz Maddy is home from school and Tanner is usually cranky cuz he doesn't like the heat!
3.) Recount a summer memory from your childhood.
When we were younger, our family and my uncle and his family would always go on a summer vacation together.  I remember going to La Ronde in Montreal but I really enjoyed our trip to Wasaga Beach.  The drive was long and with 7 kids, I'm sure the parents thought it was long too...but it was the greatest place for these country bumpkins who had never been to Disney before.  We swam in the Georgian Bay and it was crystal clear blue water that looked like the ocean and on pamphlets for exotic places.  They had a waterpark right down at the beach - they had little strip malls where I bought a Billabong bikini.  It was a great vacation!
4.) Do you have fourth of July plans? (If not in the U.S. what are you doing this weekend?)
In Canada, we had our festivities this past weekend with Canada Day.  Our community celebrated with a community BBQ, parade, flag raising ceremony, Ray's Reptiles, dancing and of course, a spectacular fireworks show!
5.) Does it get super hot where you are in the summer and how do you deal with it?
Last week was disgusting.  It was hot but the humidity added to it was unbearable.  I am one to love heat.  I love having a heater going on my legs cuz the air conditioned office is way too chilly for me...but to be out in the weather and have the high humidity, I feel like I can't breathe.  Usually we have warmer temps but so far this year, it's been sorta like a yo-yo effect...we get nice weather then we get stupid hot weather then we get rain...
How do I deal with it...I just stay indoors, honestly!  My kids are both sweaters and Tanner does not like the heat, so it's just safer for us to stay in during those hot, humid days!
