The Networking Committee for the Wasaga Beach Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that the speaker for our next ‘Breakfast at the Beach’ on Thursday, April 11th at 7:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. will be Laura Snell.  The breakfast will be held at Yammas Grill, 1288 Mosley St. Wasaga Beach.

Laura’s topic will be “getting your website found on the web”.  Customers are out there searching for your business- can they find you?  Make it easy for new and existing customers to find you online.  Local/mobile search authority Laura Snell will show you how to get your website found when people are ready to buy and how smartphones are changing everything.

Laura started her career in Information Technology by selling one of the first NCR ATM’s in Toronto.  She has been a pioneer in software development helping to create an industry changing application that automated the recruitment function in HR departments of some of Canada’s largest fortune 500 companies including CIBC, OPP, AECL, Boards of Education and various ministries within the Provincial government. 

For the past 7 years, Laura has been a pioneer once again in promoting the importance of the Local/Mobile search aspect of Google through her company GBselect.com.  She frequently gives educational talks to local business groups.  Laura is a past president of the WBWBA and is an active member of the BNI in Collingwood.

The Wasaga Beach Chamber of Commerce and the Networking Committee are delighted to welcome Laura Snell as our speaker for what we believe will be a very informative talk on how your website gets found online.
