Wasaga Beach Offers Help to Neighbours
Wednesday, April 24, 2013 7:23 AM this from Catherine Thompson of 97.7 the Beach
Equipment, personnel offered to Muskoka to help deal with flooding.
Wasaga Beach's Mayor has offered help to Huntsville and Bracebridge.
Cal Patterson says he's offered equipment and public works staff to help the cottage country communities dealing with extreme flooding.
Patterson tells Bayshore Broadcasting News that the Mayor of Huntsville has told him they are okay for now, but will keep the offer in mind as the clean up continues.
And Bracebridge's mayor has so far only acknowledged the offer, but there's no word yet if the community will take Wasaga up on it.
