Wasaga Beach Snowman Mania Starts to get Ready with the Ball Hockey Rink. Snowman Mania is held every year on Family Day Weekend which this year is February 17-18-19-20.. Watch here for event details.

Installation of the Ball Hockey Rink took place today at Stonebridge Town Centre.
Rink Board advertising is available. Interested advertisers should contact Beach BOOSTER Promotions for information 705-241-9762. Beach BOOSTER Promotions is responsible for obtaining advertisers for the Rink Boards and can look after complete production and installation of the signs.

Wasaga Beach Short Film Festival Today ..get out and Vote.

You can get a look today at the creativity of some of your friends and neighbours.

Public viewing and voting of the entries in the first annual Wasaga Beach Short Film Festival will be held in the Oakview Room at the Rec Plex at 11 this morning and 3 this afternoon.

Awards will be handed out in the Lion's Den at the Rec Plex tonight at 7.

There will also be a Wasaga  Artists showcase, music and an archives display through out the day.

Bus Service Begins Between Collingwood & Wasaga Beach

Bus service begins today between Wasaga Beach and Collingwood. The 8-person bus will run from the Collingwood terminal at Second and Pine Streets to the Real Canadian Superstore in Wasaga Beach, but it is only for a five-month trial period. There will be designated bus stops along Highway 26 and the service will operate on a 30-minute schedule. A one-way fare is 2 dollars. The buses will run from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
